Test42 is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer with a strong background in Node.js to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience working with Node.js and a solid grasp of JavaScript. Your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic, maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application, therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. We're looking for someone who is comfortable with Express.js, has experience in implementing RESTful APIs, and is proficient in using testing tools such as Mocha and Chai to ensure code quality. Familiarity with Git, continuous integration, and deployment tools like Docker is expected. In this role, you will work within an agile environment, collaborating with a team of engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver cutting-edge solutions and improve our testing and development processes. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable server-side applications using Node.js.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Node.js.
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, its quirks, and workarounds.
Proficiency in writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
